Under the Full Circle Doula model, I provide both birth and postpartum doula services in one package. This way, mothers don’t need to find multiple providers to receive the care they deserve.
This includes providing emotional support to laboring mother and/or family during birth. After birth providing postpartum care in multiple visits.
Upon request can provide evidence based information and/or resources in response to any questions mother may have before or after birth.

Blessingway: A sacred space where supporting women of the mother shower their love and support onto you before the birth. More info on this below.
Nesting Party: Family and friends join the expectant parents in their home and help set up the space to be prepared for the baby’s arrival.
Closing of the Bones: A sacred ceremony that is practiced in many different cultures across the globe. It involves wrapping the mother in scarves, with the intent to provide warmth back to the body and provide healing. More info below.

Prenatal Visits
In each package is at least two prenatal visits. When these visits are scheduled depends on when our contract begins. Generally, the first visit will occur around 20-22 weeks. The second will occur around 34-36 weeks.
Usually, these prenatal visits will be done in your home. But they can be done virtually if that is more comfortable for you.
Continuous Labor Support
During labor I will provide support to both you and your partner. I will be available by text in the early stages of labor, until you feel you would desire my support, and I will be there by your side and continue to be there through the birth to provide support and encouragement for the whole journey.
Postpartum Follow-Up Visits
The initial visit will occur 48-72 hours after the birth. I will meet you at your house or in the hospital if you are still recovering there. During this visit we will go over how the birth went, any feelings you experienced you wish to discuss, and I can answer any questions you may have.
The additional visits will be scheduled at this visit, these visit(s) will take place in your home. Here I will provide any of the postpartum healing methods we discussed, do some light housework, care for baby and other children while you take a nap or shower or eat, or the like.
The more prenatal and postpartum appointments we have together, the more our bond of trust will grow, and the more healing support I will be able to provide you.
I entered this soul-work to provide mothers with the type of support, care, and healing that I desperately craved for during my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.
Blessingway Facilitation
A blessingway is a ceremony in which the mother-to-give-birth is pampered and honored by her loved ones to mark and honor the transition she is about to embark upon.
Includes
Loved ones giving Mama lots of love (examples include gentle massage, foot bath, words of affirmations, songs, presenting gifts)
Small craft to be gifted unto the mother to remember the great support of women she has during labor
Guests signing up to support mother in some way during her postpartum period
My facilitation looks like…
My facilitation of this event will include making and sending invitations to your requested guest list, providing all guidance during the ceremony, supplying the craft and craft supplies, creating the sign-up lists for postpartum support (such as a meal train), providing any other materials that would be necessary to create a complete and loving event.
This ceremony can be held ANYWHERE you like. Oftentimes it is held in the comfort of your own home, but it can also be done at a willing friend’s home, at a park, at your church or place of worship, literally anywhere you envision feeling the most loved and cherished.
Nesting Party
A nesting party is when you invite family and friends over to your home in the weeks before the birth, and they joyfully help prepare the home for welcoming the new addition.
Includes
Chores around the home (moving all furniture and vacuuming, dusting everything, cleaning window tracks and windows, prepping firewood, ect)
Cooking multiple meals to be added to the freezer. This can be done in their own homes and brought to you upon entering the party. Also could be done at the party
sterilizing all baby items such as bottles and nipples, pacifiers, pump supplies, teether toys, ect.
Build bassinet or crib, set up nursing area, set up bedroom.
My facilitation looks like…
My facilitation of this event will include sitting down with you to go over what it you would like your friends and family to help you prep. Create and send invitations to your desired guest list. Navigating the party and providing guidance to all so everything runs as smoothly as possible.
Celebrate with you that all the baby prep work is done!
Closing of the Bones
A closing of the bones is a ceremony that is recorded in multiple different traditions throughout the world such as Africa, Latin America, and Asia. It involves wrapping the mother in multiple scarves down her body in gentle but snug manner.
Includes
A cleansing bath, to relax the body and soul and bring the energy into a space of peace
Laying the mother down and wrapping in beautiful cloths from head to toe. Benefits of this are:
Help to realign the bones and muscles, especially in the hips, after the opening of birth. Neglect of this healing can cause pelvic instability
Provides support to the uterus as it shrinks and supports the pelvic and other organs as they shift back to their original space
Cocoons the mother in warmth, supporting blood flow throughout the body after the great loss of blood every mother faces post birth.
After unwrapping, a warm cup of tea and a bowl of healing soup as we drop in and discuss any emotions or thought that might have arisen during the ceremony.
My facilitation looks like…
My facilitation of this event will include drawing the bath, laying the wraps, wrapping the body, song or prayer whatever feels most comfortable with the mother, preparing the tea and soup and dropping in with the mother/group afterwards.
This ceremony can be held ANYWHERE you like. Oftentimes it is held in the comfort of your own home, but it can also be done elsewhere. This is a ceremony that is open to everyone, regardless of religious beliefs, as it can be tailor made for your specific needs and desires.
Healing is for all.
Whoever you would like present to support you and love on you during this ceremony is welcome.

We will also go over what services I provide, packages offered, payment plans, and the like.
Virtual Support
Once I am officially your doula, I will be available to you by phone, text, and emails throughout your entire pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.
What I DON’T do as a Doula
As a doula I provide many necessary services to aid in a successful childbirth experience. But there are services I am not authorized to provider to my clients.
Such as performing clinical tasks. I am not a medical provider, so I am not trained to perform clinical tasks including but not limited to blood pressure monitoring, cervical checks, and fetal heartbeat monitoring.
I don’t make decisions for you. I am there to support you and decisions you make. I can and will provide you with evidence based information on a topic to aide you in making a decision, but I will never tell you what you should do.
I cannot speak to the medical staff on your behalf. As your doula I will empower you to make your wishes for your birth known and support your decisions by reminding healthcare professionals of your voiced choices.
Lastly, I will not project my own beliefs about birth onto you. This is YOUR birth experience. I am there to hold space to better support you and your vision for your ideal birth. My own beliefs and experiences will never be a factor.
